Operator free Drilling Fluid Coolers / Mud Coolers for rent on long term basis.
Minimum rental duration is 18 months.
Lead time is three to four months.
Monthly rental rate is $ 20,000.00 per month (subject to change without notice), not including applicable taxes and freight to and from site.
Hook-up and disconnecting of temporary piping is by others.
The dimensions of the coolers are maximum 8’6″ wide and 40′ long. Weight is approximately 60,000 Lbs.
These coolers are designed for cooling drilling mud in applications where the below ground formations are high enough to cause the Drilling Fluid / Mud to reach flashpoint temperature, on surface, during drilling.
The coolers are designed to keep the Drilling Fluid / Mud below 60 Centigrade in up to 35 Centigrade daytime temperatures.
The coolers are utilizing ambient air cooling of the Mud and will work year round with invert Mud. (These coolers will not work with water based Mud in below freezing ambient temperature!)
The Mud Cooler fans are automatically controlled to maintain the Drilling Fluid / Mud temperature to a pre-selected temperature set point.
We also have Refrigerated Drilling Fluid / Mud Chillers available for when the mud temperature has to be maintained below ambient temperature.
The refrigerated chillers are designed to maintain temperature of the Drilling Mud at 0-15 Centigrade. Ideal for drilling through Perma Frost and for SAGD operations, always keeping the formation temperature in situ.
